Going by the ones around in my lifetime, I'd probably have to say Daley Thompson, Seb Coe and Mo Farah.
Even though I was only 10, the battle between Daley and Jurgen Hingsen in the 1984 Olympics was quality.
Was on holiday at the time and the TV room was always mobbed when these two were on.
